Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Resuvo ("Resuvo," "we," "us," or "our"), the web-based resume builder available at resuvo.net (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Please also review our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Description of Service
Resuvo provides tools to create, edit, analyze, and export resumes and related professional content, including AI-powered suggestions for bullet points, summaries, and skills. The Service is offered on a free tier with limited features and a paid "Pro" subscription tier with expanded features, as described on our pricing page.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. By using Resuvo, you represent that you meet this requirement under the laws that apply to you.
Accounts
Resuvo accounts are created and accessed through Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Google account associated with your Resuvo account and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation
Paid Resuvo plans ("Pro") are billed on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, as selected at checkout — through our payment processor, Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize Resuvo, through Razorpay, to charge your chosen payment method automatically at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.
You will receive a pre-debit notification before each recurring charge, in accordance with applicable Reserve Bank of India regulations. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain Pro access until that date.
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Resuvo reserves the right to change subscription pricing on a prospective basis, with advance notice to active subscribers before the change applies to their next billing cycle.
User Content & License
You retain all ownership rights in the resume and professional content you create or upload to Resuvo ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Resuvo a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, reproduce, display, and export that content solely to provide the features you request, including AI-powered features. This license ends when your content is deleted or your account is closed, subject to our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the User Content you submit, including ensuring you have the right to include any information about third parties (such as references or colleagues) in your resume.
AI-Generated Content
Resuvo uses third-party AI models to generate suggested bullet points, summaries, skill descriptions, and related content based on the information you provide. AI-generated content is provided for your convenience and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before including it in your resume or relying on it in any way. Resuvo does not guarantee that using AI-generated content, or any other feature of the Service, will result in interview invitations, job offers, or any other employment outcome. Resuvo is not a career counseling, recruitment, or legal advisory service, and AI-generated content should not be treated as professional advice.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Submit content that is defamatory, fraudulent, or infringes on the rights of any third party, including impersonating another person or misrepresenting your qualifications, employment history, or credentials
- Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, its underlying code, or other users' data
- Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access the Service or generate excessive AI requests beyond normal individual use
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our prior written consent
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
Templates & Intellectual Property
Resuvo's resume templates, design system, branding, logo, source code, and underlying technology are the property of Resuvo and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our templates solely to create your own resumes for personal use.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or claim ownership of Resuvo's templates or design system independent of your own resume content. This license does not extend to Resuvo's branding, logo, or source code.
Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Google (authentication), OpenAI (AI processing), and Razorpay (payment processing), as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of features involving these providers is also subject to their respective terms of service. Resuvo is not responsible for the availability, performance, or practices of these third-party providers.
If Resuvo introduces integrations with job boards or applicant tracking systems (ATS) in the future, use of those integrations will also be subject to the relevant third party's terms, and Resuvo does not guarantee compatibility with or acceptance by any specific job board or ATS.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Resuvo and its founders, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of employment opportunities, income, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Resuvo's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to Resuvo in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India, unless applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
